Does everything he pleases
I love you to bits
I love you to pieces"

A. J. Snyder align= My mother - the woman who named me Alexander and then promptly started calling me A.J. - has been asking me to write a children's book since I was, myself, a child. I always meant to do it, but somehow the idea got lost and meandered in circles for a couple decades. Years passed, and while living far from my home state of Montana in a little place called Philadelphia, this life saw fit to bless me with a beautiful wife and a precocious daughter. Loving them did something to my insides, something akin to what the sun does to the sky as it rises. One morning my daughter smiled at me and got me to do what neither I nor my mother could make me do for so long. With a happy heart I sat down and wrote her a book. I asked my sister (who is, officially, a nurse) to illustrate it, and she made magic happen. My mother learned how to publish. And here we are, with paper pages to turn and tickle. I wrote this book because it's how I feel. I wrote it so that every night I could remind my girls that they are loved – to bits, and to pieces.
align= Leah is a labor and delivery nurse by trade, welcoming wailing souls to the beautiful valley of Missoula, Montana. She loves photography, her husband Travis, and being concurrently intense and nurturing. On top of all that, there's a 97.2% chance she can run faster than you. When home, she's likely at the farmer's market or scaring mountain lions by burning up the loose gravel of the Mission Mountains, and if she’s not in Missoula she's probably at the top of some building in Denver, San Fran or Seattle. Odds are she wouldn't have used the elevator to get up there either. Fun fact about Leah: her heart is so big it's the only man-made object that can be seen from space.
