In compiling the recipes, Seabring has selected ones that go from very simple to complex and says she has tested every one. One of the special features of the book is the focus Seabring brings to the importance of agriculture to the state, and she puts an emphasis on using locally produced foods. In her introduction, she encourages us to �talk to the farmer.� In reading the book, you will find information on many of the food products Montana is known for, and you will meet some of the producers of those products. She also includes a list of the sources of the in-state producers and suppliers. If you like your recipe books to have colorful photos included, you will not be disappointed with this selection. Distributed throughout the book are stunning photos taken by award-winning photographer Paulette Phlipot. The art will inspire you to prepare the dishes for yourself. I am looking forward to preparing more of the recipes from this book, but it will be difficult to choose which to make next....
