"Part of the "Who Pooped in the Park?" series ideal for young readers ages 5 to 8, Who Pooped in the Northwoods? Scat and Tracks for Kids is an educational picture-book following the adventures of two children, Michael and Emily, who learn how to read the evidence of wild creatures in the northwoods of Minnesota and Wisconsin. From telling the difference between bobcat tracks and wolf tracks, to recognizing owl pellets, to learning how to recognize what animal a given scat came from, Who Pooped in the Northwoods? is as lively, forthright, and downright fascinating as the rest of the popular series. Especially recommended for young people about to go on a camping trip in the northwoods!"
-Midwest Book Review "I purchased this book to read with my four year old grandson. We all know how fascinated little boys are with the word and anything associated with it so I thought this was perfect. It is a very educational book taught in a fun and interesting way. It shows pictures of different animal "poop" and tells a little about what the animal eats and then it also shows the animals tracks and talks some more about it. My grandson was very interested in both the poop and the tracks. We made fun plans to go into the woods near his home and look for the different poops and tracks. The book was very fun to read and it gave us another excuse to go on an adventure. It certainly helps me to be a fun Grammy. And drawing the different animal tracks was fun. Great book. I understand there are more books in this series set in different parts of the country. I will certainly purchase them. I recommend the books to help get kids outside and in love with nature. Good exercise too."
