"Zion's Kolob Canyons are accessible from Highway 15 near New Harmony, Utah. Formed of Navajo Sandstone, the Finger Canyons are eroded not by the Virgin River but by runoff from the high-elevation Markagunt Plateau."
-from page 29

"The East Entrance Road winds its way from Zion's east side into Pine Creek and Zion Canyon after emerging from the mile-long Zion Tunnel. Many people remember their journey over this hairpin road more than any other aspect of Zion!"
-from page 51
