align= Kip Malone, a semi-native Albuquerquian, spends his days working on photo assignments for ad agencies and magazines. His adventures with the camera yield this short list of photographic wisdom:
  • Rattlesnakes are best photographed with a long telephoto lens.
  • Cops in most countries don't like their pictures taken.
  • Small camera parts are very difficult to find in tall grasses.
  • While cameras don't bounce, strobe lights do, but they still break.
  • Always remember to bring rain gear, especially when it's sunny.
  • And keep a close eye on frightened livestock when photographing in enclosed arenas.
