Santa Fe Impressions

"This more traditional adobe church, Santuario de Guadalupe, was built to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe. The church, built between 1776 and 1795, is thought to be the oldest shrine built to Our Lady of Guadalupe in the United States. El Santuario, operated by the Catholic Church, still has religious services and offers the space for a limited number of classical concerts and special lectures."

"In fall, drive an hour and a half north of Santa Fe and marvel at the golden aspens tucked in Santa Barbara Canyon. In the background, a storm brews on nearby Jicarita Peak, a mountain sacred to the Picuris Pueblo Indians."
